Researching firsts

I choose this topic because I was curious to know who invented ice-cream and how it has involved over time. I think these questions are important because back in the early day's ice cream would have been a big thing because there was nothing else like it and people couldn’t exactly access it at home because some people wouldn’t be able to have a freezer.

From my first source I have learned that there are no specific dates to when ice cream was created or who was the first person to invent ice cream but through this I have also learned that ice cream has evolved from many different recipes and people trying new thing and experimenting with different flavor to make, what we now know as ice cream. Ice cream’s origins extend as far back as the second century B.C and ice cream wasn’t made available to the public until the 1660s in this long year gap ice cream has changed in many ways and has evolved from many different recipes including sherbet. Marco Polo returned back to Italy from the far east with a recipe that is similar to what is now called Sherbet, Historians determine that the recipe evolved into ice cream at some point in the 16th century.
